SMS Credits

Notifications sent via SMS are not free of charge. To receive SMS notifications, SMS credits are required. One credit equals one SMS message.

Based on typical usage patterns, approximately 250 SMS messages are sufficient for a period of 4–6 months. Each device initially includes 250 SMS credits. Once these credits are depleted, you can either purchase additional SMS credit packages or continue using e-mail notifications only, combined with periodic checks of the web interface on dl-smart.eu.

SMS credits can be purchased in various package sizes, such as 100, 250, 500, or 1000 messages. Unused SMS credits do not expire.

To preserve SMS credits, you can configure for each device which types of events should trigger SMS notifications, or you can temporarily disable SMS notifications entirely while keeping e-mail notifications active.
